Web design

Simple, high-end website design to match your reputation.

If most of your customers hear about you before they ever see your site, what they look up should sound like you, show real work, and make contacting you easy.

Same content, same structure, two design languages. Most sites land somewhere between them, and the call is where we work out which way yours leans.

Built for the business that runs on word of mouth.

The plumber everyone recommends. The engineer who's never run an ad. The cleaning company booked out on referrals. You don't need a big site. You need one that looks as good as your reputation already sounds.

This works well when

  • Most of your work comes from referrals and repeat customers
  • Three to ten pages covers what you need to say
  • Your current site doesn't tell the real story, or there isn't one yet
  • You'd like to change a phone number or a photo yourself afterward
  • You want one person to talk to, start to finish. I'm in Meridian, Idaho and build for businesses across the US

Worth a conversation first if

  • You're selling products online or need customer logins
  • You're starting from zero with no logo or brand yet
  • You need it live inside a week
  • The goal is ranking for cold search traffic at scale

None of these are a no. They change the plan, and occasionally the right plan is someone other than me. Worth a call either way.

A few recent builds

Every one started the same way: figure out what the business actually has going for it, the owner's story, the years in, the work itself, then build the site around that instead of a template.

What's included

  • Positioning sessionSixty minutes. We find the thing that makes you different and build around it.
  • Homepage mockup firstYou approve the direction before any other page gets built.
  • Up to ten pagesHome, services, about, contact, plus what your business actually needs.
  • Copy shaped from your wordsI interview you, then write. You sound like you, not like an agency.
  • Photo shot listExactly what to photograph, so the site isn't stock imagery.
  • Local search basicsTitles, descriptions, schema, Google Business link. Not an SEO campaign.
  • Lead form wired inSubmissions go somewhere useful: your inbox at minimum, your follow-up system if you have one.
  • Handoff and 30 days of fixesA short recorded walkthrough of how to edit your content, and anything off after launch handled at no charge.

What you bring

The build only moves as fast as the inputs. Here's the short list.

  • About three hours of your time across two calls and a review
  • Photos from the shot list, or a half day with a local photographer
  • Your domain and hosting login, or a yes to me setting it up
  • Honest answers about what customers actually say about you

From first call to live site

You see the homepage before anything else is built, so the direction is right before the rest follows.

01

Positioning call

What you do, who refers you, and what they say when they do. I leave with the story and a page list.

02 You approve this first

Homepage mockup

Full homepage design with your copy and photo direction. You sign off before the rest is built.

03

Build, page by page

Remaining pages built on your hosting. You review each one as it lands, not all at once at the end.

Launch and hand off

Site goes live, you get the walkthrough video and the logins. Thirty days of fixes included.

The site is the front door. The system answers it.

A contact form that emails you is fine. One that qualifies the lead, books the estimate, and sends the reminder is what Tuskr builds the rest of the time. Every site is built so that can plug in: on day one, a year later, or never.

  • 1
Visitor submits the form on your new siteName, job type, a couple of qualifying questions.
  • 2
The agent replies in under a minuteConfirms details, answers the basics, books a time.
  • 3
You get a booked estimate, not a cold leadReminder sent. Follow-up scheduled. Nothing to chase.

What it costs

  • Fixed scope, fixed price, written down before kickoff
  • Homepage approved before the rest is built
  • Hosting and domain stay in your name
  • Thirty days of post-launch fixes included
  • Connect a Tuskr automation system later, or never

Before you book

Why WordPress and not Squarespace or Wix?

Because you own it. WordPress runs on hosting you control, and if you ever want to leave, the whole site comes with you. Elementor gives you a visual editor for everyday changes without needing me. The site-in-a-box platforms are simpler on day one and more limiting every day after.

How long does it take?

A five-page site usually runs three to five weeks from kickoff, once we have the photos, reviews and direction on copy.

Can I edit it myself afterward?

Yes. Text, photos, phone numbers, hours, blog posts, all of it through WordPress. You'll get a short walkthrough. Layout changes are the exception; those are a job for me.

Do I need the automation too?

No. The site stands on its own. It's built so the follow-up system can plug in later if you want it, but there's no bundle you have to take.

Let's look at your site together.

Thirty minutes. We go through what you have now, what your customers should be seeing, and what a build would actually involve. You leave with a straight answer either way.
